The 1050 Adventure includes a KTM trellis frame (made from chrome-moly steel and powdercoated orange), top quality WP suspension hardware, dual-plug ignition, Keihin engine management, and a slipper clutch. Also noteworthy are cast wheels, plus adjustable footpegs, an adjustable handlebar and adjustable windscreen.

A large 23-litre fuel tank, hand guards, a steering damper, LED daytime running lights and an impressive amount of ground clearance will make the 1050 Adventure stand apart. Instrument console includes a two-part digital dash and analogue tacho and electronics are easy to adjust, even on the fly. The hydraulic slipper clutch is expected to make riding in the city a breeze, thanks to light feel on the clutch lever, as well as stop rear wheel lock on aggressive downshifts.

The KTM 1050 Adventure will be priced in the region of Rs 10-15 lakhs, in the adventure segment which already has Triumph marketing respectable numbers of the Tiger. The best way for both KTM and enthusiasts is for KTM to bring the 1050 Adventure through the CKD route and assemble it here in India. If that happens, expect competitive pricing
